So, I came across this Burn, Rewrite, Reread book tag over on ROMWEASLEY BOOKS and loved it. So I decided to follow suit and play a few rounds myself. Check it out…

I picked fifteen books that I’ve read within the past several months. I made sure to get a nice mix of differently rated books. I didn’t want to have all four or five-star books to play with.

Here are the rules:

  • Randomly choose three books
    • I wrote each book on a slip of paper, then let my six-year-old fold them up and draw out of a bowl. Family time, yeah?
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread.
  • Repeat until you completed all your rounds.

Round One

This is probably the easiest round for me. I LOVED Havoc and while Nova was good, I had a hard time staying focused. Offensive Rebound was just blah compared to the other two.

Round Two

Hmm, my burn choice was easy. I did not love even truly like Lucian Divine. But Every Little Thing and Riveted were both good reads. I think maybe I’ve changed these two around several times now…

Round Three

Ahhh! This round pains me so much. LL is my favorite author and for the first time ever, I didn’t love one of her books. Dear Life and The Play Mate were about equal. Dear Life could have been just a little bit more than it was.

Round Four

Ok, I lied about the first round being the easiest. This round was. I loved Wait For It. A Matter of Heart was good, but the love triangle was infuriating, so I’d pull back on that a bit and add more plot lines that don’t include the mc making such dumb decisions. Confession: I didn’t finish Any Time, Any Place. I made it about 60% through and stoped. I just found it super boring.

Round Five

I didn’t love Singe, so let us toss it. Stuck-Up Suit was enjoyable, but meh compared to Till Death, which I’d actually reread…which I don’t do. I don’t have time for that.

Comment below with three recent books you’ve read and let me know which you would burn, rewrite, and reread!

Since this book tag isn’t current, I’m not gonna tag anyone. But come back and let me know if you end up playing too!
