I’ve always had one rule:
Don’t mix business and pleasure.
But then Landon Wright comes home to his family’s construction company with a broken back and a beaten heart and ends up as my new sexy boss. As the office gets heated, I’m thinking about throwing the rulebook out the window.
If only there weren’t a million reasons this could never work.
We may have shared a single perfect kiss, but I can’t let our intense connection cloud my judgment. Not with everything I’ve worked for on the line.
Dating your boss is so very, very wrong…even if he feels so Wright.
The Wright Boss by K.A. Linde Review
I have a love-hate relationship with book two of series. I love them because I’m enjoying their series, but I hate them because they don’t capture my attention like the first book did. That’s how I felt about The Wright Boss.
Now, I liked Hedi. And I liked Landon. And I liked them together, but I didn’t love their story. Also, I could not stand the narrator who voiced Hedi. She made Hedi sound about 18. And I think that’s why it was so hard for me to get into the book. I think, if I had read The Wright Boss, I would have rated it higher and it would not have taken me a month to get through.
I do want to mention….I <3 Joe Arden.
