In the #1 New York Times bestselling Mercy Thompson novels, the coyote shapeshifter has found her voice in the werewolf pack. But when Mercy's bond with the pack and her mate is broken, she'll learn what it truly means to be alone...

Attacked and abducted in her home territory, Mercy finds herself in the clutches of the most powerful vampire in the world, taken as a weapon to use against alpha werewolf Adam and the ruler of the Tri-Cities vampires. In coyote form, Mercy escapes only to find herself without money, without clothing, and alone in the heart of Europe...

Unable to contact Adam and the rest of the pack, Mercy has allies to find and enemies to fight, and she needs to figure out which is which. Ancient powers stir, and Mercy must be her agile best to avoid causing a war between vampires and werewolves, and between werewolves and werewolves. And in the heart of the ancient city of Prague, old ghosts rise.

I’ve been a huge Mercy Thompson fan for a few years now. I’ve listened to most of the books but also read a couple of them. My opinion still stands, the audios for this series are the way to go. I absolutely adore the narrator and now, to me, is Mercy Thompson. And to note, I think this series would make an excellent TV series. Netflix would be my choice. And OMG, if they didn’t go too off script (I’m looking at you True Blood), then this would be TV/Book gold!

While Silence Fallen was not my favorite, it was still a great story and added, even more, depth to this world that Briggs has created. What is Briggs going to do when the series has come to an end? Her fans will have to send her loads of chocolate because as a writer, spending so many years developing, maintaining and living in your series, it will have to be difficult. As a reader of the series, I myself will go through withdraws!

It took a long time for me to get through this audio. There wasn’t a lot of action and unlike most of the other books, most of the book took place in the same places. Mercy and Adam were separated for 90% of the book since that’s the main plot. But overall, it was a good listen and once again, as I end all my reviews for this series…I can’t wait for the next book.
